am i thankful every day?

thankful

i was sitting in front of the fire last night surrounded by the laughter and chatter of by beautiful friends and boho family, when i found myself remarkably aware of how thankful i am for my journey.

I asked myself, “are you thankful every day?”
without hesitation i answered myself, “YES! i am!”

and then i wondered.. “do i live as though i am thankful every day?” and i did not have a clear yes or no answer. Although i am aware of my deepening gratitude for this adventure, the secrets of the universe, and the joys i surround myself with, i feel like i can be actively living my life with more gratitude every day.

i am making a point to give recognition and love every day. i can either share it in my online playgrounds, or i can take time to reflect in the quiet comforts of my mind. Either way, i find joy in furthering my gratitude by living it.. acknowledging it.. and sharing it.

sending out warm thoughts and love to the universe. We’re all on one amazing journey. love, light, gratitude

    I love our fireplace!

Thanks for sharing your words and ideas with us. I think family is always something you can self define. We dont get to choose our blood relations but we can choose who fills us with joy and who we want to spend long nights with talking, collaborating and/or making magic with. :)
  • So very true. It's funny to think that my blood relatives have helped shape the person i am today even though we are really not that similar in the way we lead our lives, but sometimes it takes seeing and living the way you don't want to be in order to learn and grow into the person you do want to be. It's such a beautiful thing that we may change our minds about anything.. at any given moment.

I can tell you one thing catwoman... i sure am happy that you are a part of the magic in my life. it just wouldn't be the same without you ; )

Heck, when we first met in person, we already got to have some mischief with Georgette. The look on her face when she discovered that I was the person @rubberzebra brought. I didnt realize that Reno was so tiny that you could actually bump into people you know online. LOL
